FALLing into September

Falling into September
In time we are planning our moments of beach visits, camping, fishing, and all the summer adventures ahead and the next thing you know we are jumping back into a new school year with both feet running!!  Time really does fly and here we are welcoming back all of our students and families for another year of fun and learning.

In the first few weeks we welcomed our new Kindergarten class on their first day and we had our school photos.

Then skipping right along into the next week, we took part in our annual Terry Fox run.  The day was perfect for the run and we are happy to report that our school and community had raised $1135.00.

The following Monday evening, family and staff gathered to share a delicious Pot Luck supper!  All of the dishes that were brought were so so good.  Thank you to all that came.

Ending our Month, in honor of Orange Shirt Day, Onanole School was invited to Rolling River First Nation to take part in the program of events that day in honor of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Please check out all the photo highlights of this month below.
