The Grade 1/2 class had fun learning measurement last week. Students were partnered up, given two large sheets of paper, and pencil. They took turns tracing each other onto the paper provided. Then they colored and cut out their look alkies'.
Each student was able to use their twin for measurement. They measured how tall they were, length of their arms, legs, and hands. Pencils, paperclips, and cubes were used.
This was the introduction to the Measurement Unit. More learning fun to come!!
